This may be a sign of the Dreamfinder's return with Figment from the realms of imagination and back to the public! :D…

Update: I just found this awesome forgotten short film of Dreamfinder that was never aired to the public. Take a look see!…

Actually surprised someone even recognized my last painting as Disney. Didn't think anyone was around old enough to remember that scene from Journey into imagination.

True, I wasn't there when it opened. And I was only 4 years old when they closed down the first version. The one time I went to EPCOT, which was like 15 years ago, I DID see a picture of Figment on the sippy cup that gave out with all the other Disney characters on it, but I didn't know who he was that time. Then sometime in high school, I think, I saw both Dreamfinder and Figment together in their ride but the whole think didn't really click into my interests because it was so dark in there and Figment looked a little devilish in the shadow. It looked creepy at first sight. Then last year, I read both of the Figments 1 and 2 comics and IMMEDIATELY took an interest in their story and gradually became interested in everything else.

That's pretty much my story on how I came to like these guys. ^^; So of course, I would take an interest in that drawing, which you have nicely done. ^^

that's awesome. I wasn't there from the beginning I think the attraction opened in 71?  I was 10 the first time I saw it in 87.  But i loved that ride so much. I was much butthurt when they 'improved' it.  and was amused when they 'improved' it yet again readding figment.  the ride now is SOOOO much shorter, and figment hasn't changed. but I still love it. never read or even heard of the comics till about 3 months ago actually.  Eventually i suppose i'll get to them.

No, it opened in 1983, a year after EPCOT first opened. Personally, I don't think Figment is the same as the first version much considering he's smelling people's armpits and spraying people with skunk scent (I already know it's burnt coffee smell), which he's NEVER DONE BEFORE. You really should! They're really good. I'm pretty sure they're going to do a 3rd Figment mini series comic like the first two, but they've never shown any indication of its first panels. My only hope of finding out is seeing it, if possible, at the next D23 Expo this summer.
